Sennari Launches MobileTunes Website and Music Download Service

Sennari, a leader in CRM-based applications for mobile phones, recently announced the launch of MobileTunes, a free download service and music channel that gives consumers one-stop information about musicians, popular trends in music, and an opportunity to share music-related views according to their interests.
According to a company press release, the website is set up to work as a promotional tool for the music industry. It can be used by artists, labels and promoters to set-up blogs, launch on-line/mobile promotions, deliver free song previews, display concert calendars and more. All of the content is auto-formatted to work with the MobileTunes software, which can be downloaded to mobile phones.
Sennari claims MobileTunes is “the first promotional tool for music that integrates both the web and mobile phone into a seamless user experience.” Through the website, music fans can have free mobile access to artists’ blogs, tour schedules and social networks, and can even purchase concert tickets.
“Mobile music and entertainment has been extremely popular worldwide, as seen with the growth of ringtones and digital music, so there is a huge potential for an application like MobileTunes,” said Bill Barhydt, CEO of Sennari, in the press release. “Mobile users are gravitating to entertainment services that are appealing both online and off-line. MobileTunes, which is built on Sennari’s mobile customer relationship management (mCRM) platform, also sports a sophisticated social networking platform, where users can share their favorite music and related information with their friends.
Sennari also offers its popular PrizePlay gaming service, (www.prizeplay.com), which is also built on its mCRM platform. Designed on a pay-per-play model with in-game prizes to encourage repeat play, PrizePlay has surpassed 200,000 games played since its UK launch in December 2005.
